Laurence Khan joins Soliya Fellowship

global tolerance news: 23 May 2012

We are pleased and proud to share with you that global tolerance's Laurence Khan has been nominated and selected for the Soliya Fellowship.

Seeking active and skilful emerging leaders from the West and predominantly Muslim societies, Soliya selected the brightest and most talented young leaders based on their demonstrated experience in community mobilisation, media production and dissemination, and conflict resolution.

Laurence was nominated by the Three Faiths Forum, winner of the UN Award for Intercultural Innovation.

The fellowship consists of training with conflict resolution leaders, broadcast and social media companies and premiere NGOs, including staff of the United Nations, Al Jazeera, ABC News, Georgetown University, and some of the world’s most influential thinkers on pressing global issues, and how the world is communicating about them. The fellowship culminates in a one-week summit in the Middle East.

Please join us in congratulating Laurence for this great achievement.
